Retro Bauhaus Pendant Lamp in Orange, Green or White Finishes

Bauhaus design put colour and geometry on equal footing with function, and this pendant follows that thinking: a simple, confident shape in a single saturated colour, with nothing added for decoration's sake. Hung over a kitchen counter or a dining table it becomes the focal point of the room, and it works particularly well in interiors that are otherwise neutral, where one strong colour overhead does the whole job.

Three finishes are offered. Orange is the most assertive and is the one to choose if you want the fixture to read as a design object; green is quieter and sits well against wood and plants; white disappears into a pale ceiling and lets the silhouette alone carry the look. All three use the same body and the same proportions, so a group can mix colours without the shapes clashing.

The lamp casts an inviting downward glow that suits a table, a counter or a reading corner rather than whole-room lighting. Installation is a standard ceiling-mounted job and should be carried out by a qualified electrician in line with local wiring regulations, with the power switched off at the mains before fitting or changing a bulb. Wipe the painted surface with a soft dry cloth and avoid solvents, which can dull the finish. Indoor dry use only.
